Announcing “kashiwa (Kashiwa Kiln) — In Between”
An exhibition of works by Kashiwa Kiln is currently being held at Onland Store in Nihonbashi, Tokyo.
Under the theme “Two Cultures: Scandinavia and Seto / Tableware Born from Designed Forms and the Forces of Nature,” the exhibition features and offers for sale tableware and vases that bring color and character to everyday life.
Alongside archival works from the past, the exhibition also introduces the journey of Kashiwa Kiln’s craftsmanship, as well as the land and culture of Seto, where these works are created.
On Saturday, October 3, a workshop is also scheduled, where participants can enjoy Japanese black tea served in cups made by Kashiwa Kiln.
We warmly invite you to visit the exhibition and experience the unique character and expression of each piece in person.
